Unreleased Product Previews + Potential Dupes?

A few of these products haven’t actually been released yet, so this is a preview for both you and I! Now there’s actually a bunch of products, so I think i’m gonna split this haul up within 2-3 parts.  If there’s a specific product you want to see a demonstration or full review for, please just let me know down in the comments!

For this portion of the haul I’m going to go through the face products. In my next post I’ll either talk about the lip products, because there is quite a lot, or the eye/ nail products. Let me know which you want to see! I’m super excited about a ton of these products and I’m so ecstatic to show you them all!

Now it’s no surprise that I love bareMinerals products, so when I got these two shades of their new BAREPRO powder foundation, I was ecstatic. I only swatched it so far to test for the shade and texture, but its so light and buttery in texture, that I feel like it’ll be an instant hit! So many powder foundations look beyond cakey, but this didn’t seem to clump or settle in the fine lines of my hand so thats a great signProcessed with VSCO with hb1 preset

Next was a product I’ve been wanting to try for soo long! The concept itself in general of a mist foundation seemed intriguing but messy. I wanted to try to Dior version, but that was way too pricey of a version to splurge on compared to the Sephora version. It does seem to give a natural finish (based on spraying it on my arm haha), but you’ll have to blend of course. I feel like it can clump and get blotchy.. but i’ll have to try it out first!Processed with VSCO with hb1 preset

I love Estee Lauder anything so this was of course a great product. I don’t like the “cushion” applicator because I don’t think it’s very hygienic, but in reality the sponge itself is very good for on the go applications and touch ups. The foundation formulation is 9.5/10 for me. This is one of the few formulations that I don’t think really requires a primer, and provides a luminous finish which is my favorite. Processed with VSCO with hb1 preset

Hourglass. A very expensive brand, but very high quality products in my opinion. I haven’t tried their original primer yet, but this one swatches beautifully and I seriously can’t wait to start using this. It’s also a correcting primer so it swatches pretty pale, but then after rubbing it turns a pale purple then turns invisible. That magic alone sold me over!Processed with VSCO with hb1 presetThis Cover FX brush is just a basic tool. It seems to be very good, but at a hefty $20 for one brush.. I don’t think you should go out and invest in this product. The one I’ve been using and would even repurchase because I love it so much is this Etude House brush. Its a fraction of the price and works just the same.. plus its pink! If you guys are ever looking for a dupe for most holy grail American products, most South Korean brands tend to have an exact dupe. If you’re interested I can make a blog post on that!

Chosungah is a South Korean brand that I was pretty anxious to try, and the packaging of this product is insane. Honestly it’s a very well made product, but the shades are rather light but still good quality. One half is a serum type of product, and the other half is the foundation and when you mix it together its supposed to provide you with skin benefits and a dewy finish. I think the shade I have it in is too light so I think I’ll have to see if I can exchange it 🙁 Processed with VSCO with hb1 preset

For this Fiona Stiles powder, I don’t have any loose setting powder besides the bareMinerals mineral veil (which in my opinion is meh..) so I said I would try something outside of the basic Laura Mercier powder. It seems to be exactly the same based on my speculation.. I don’t own the Mercier version, but a friend of mine does and the texture feels quite the same. But thats just me.. I can sense that this may an undiscovered dupe for the Laura Mercier powder!Processed with VSCO with hb1 preset

This other powder by Karin Herzog was a gift but it seems very interesting. I find that some smaller, less popular companies tend to have many hidden gems. Who knows, this might be one too! The powder comes out from the brush from just swiping it, so thats pretty interesting. It has potential.Processed with VSCO with hb1 preset

I love serum foundations as you can tell from the Chosungah foundation, as well as my love for the bareMinerals serum foundation. This one was reasonably price so it seemed like a good product to try. I feel like this may actually be a dupe for the bareMinerals bareSkin foundation because based on my swatch, the texture was near-exactly the same as the bareSkin and is half the price.

I’ll have to try this and get back to you on this because so far I may have two potentially great dupes that I haven’t seen discovered yet! *excitement*Processed with VSCO with hb1 preset
