Tatcha 7 Day Journey Review

Tatcha recently came out with a “7 Day Journey” which is supposed to provide you with brighter and smoother skin after 7 days. I was disappointed that it was just 14 packets of the samples you would get for free when you purchase online, but it’s still a good value.

I just finished the 7 Day Journey and my skin feels amazing. I seriously feel like this was worth it in the end, regardless of me using samples for 7 days straight.

ProTip: you can 100% extend this to a 14 Day Journey because there’s a ton of product in the packets!

So what were the two products featured? First up as Step 1 is the PURE One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil. This is honestly the best cleansing oil that I’ve ever used. I’ve sworn by the Clinique cleansing milk and balm and Bioderma for a cleansing water or a L’Occitane cleansing oil, but THIS PRODUCT is in a different league on its own. It feels so luxurious if that makes sense, and it leaves your face moisturized and not sticky which all of the other products I’ve mentioned just now tend to do. It removes all of my makeup so easily, so I think i’m gonna have to cave and buy it..

Step 2: POLISHED Classic Rice Enzyme Powder. When I made my first purchase from Tatcha, I got the travel sized of this product for free and since then I’ve been hooked. I haven’t gotten the full size yet because 1) price, 2) I have to finish the cleansers/exfoliators I have now before I buy another product. (Don’t waste products guys) But after these results, I think I’ll have to definitely buy it as soon as possible because my skin loves this stuff. My complexion isn’t dull or sallow anymore and I wake up with seriously brightened skin.img_3136

Day 1: okay so nothing major but when I woke up my skin looked brightened.. also after using both products my skin felt so smooth and rejuvenated as if I just got a facial done at the spa.

Day 2: My skin started clearing up which was unexpected honestly, and my complexion already started to look more even and bright.

Day 3: I started to notice my makeup would apply a lot smoother and I wouldn’t have dry patches the morning after I used the products.

Day 4: I’m beginning to realize ” oh no now I’ll have to buy both of these, RIP my money”

Day 5: My skin looked and felt so smooth and brightened that it was something my skin had seriously lacked from all of my acne products.

Day 6: My forehead is my worst area, but now it started to lighten the dark spots on the sides of my face and forehead which was phenomenal

Day 7: Now the overall effects? My skin tone became a lot more even over the course of the week long journey, in addition to my face not being as dry, dark spot lightening, acne clearing up, and a smooth canvas for makeup or in general.

Now obviously this will vary on your skin types and you in general, but I highly recommend these rather expensive products because they are worth it. I’d rather a product that brings a result the first time around, as opposed to buying 4 bottles waiting for a change to happen.
